I got DSL last month and was able to access Daz's site. Then I went on a vacation for three weeks. I'm back now and haven't been able to get to the DAZ site at all. I get a "cannot find server" message. Anyone else having trouble? I would really like to get the Michael 3 since it came out while I was gone. Liz Pope Dreamspinner

Call your DSL provider and talk to their tech support. I had a few problems with my Cable modem and Yahoo before. was a simple fix with proxy settings but I couldn't figure it out without their help. shrug The mysteries and wonders of modern technology.

no problem here at any store of the three, or arcana site at Daz.

THe DSL modem I have sometimes needs a quick kick to get going again. Reboot your computer, turn off your modem for a minute or two, then restart the modem.

Did all that. Was even on the help line with my provider. Can't figure out why I can't get to DAZ. I get Server Not Found. Liz Pope Dreamspinner

P.S. I still have my dial up service at the moment so I tried through them (Earthlink), same thing. No go, Server Not Found.

I wonder if cookies have anything to do with it. Try deleting your Daz cookie(s) and see what happens. shrugs

ernyoka, ctrl-f5? I never heard that one before. I always use ctrl-r. Mind you, I use ctrl-w to close a window, not alt-f4. I may be odd. mac

LOL And I've never heard of the one you use :o) - not ctrl-w either for that matter. Love to learn new shortcuts!

Hmmm... I thought ctrl-r was the standard refresh command for everyone. But looking at the IE menu, it says 'Refresh F5'. Strange. Oh well, you can never have too many shortcuts. I find ctrl-r/ctrl-w easier 'cause I can do them with one hand without breaking my fingers. mac
