Edgar Allan Poe died 154 years ago today, on October 7th, 1849. He's one of my favorite authors, so to honor his memory and his contribution to modern horror and mystery fiction--and to get into the spooky spirit of the season--I'm orchestrating a contest! It's simple: Choose any work by Edgar Allan Poe, and create a representative illustration for that work. Tons of great prizes from top-quality merchants! Check out the link above!

That sounds like a great contest, and I thought this might me the one to jump in on.... but alas, it would do me not a lick of good...other then the fun... I don't have poser and can't afford it...and all the prizes are supplements for poser it seems.... lol will just wait for the next Bryce one and hope it doesn't require poser for it....LOL Jen

Well... Yeah, I guess you're right. Looks like predominantly Poser merchants volunteered their wares as prizes, though the invitation was posted for EVERY merchant. Sorry about that :-( Thanks for pointing it out, though. It's something I'll keep in mind for next time :-)

yeah I'm with you Jen.......I'd really like to see a contest for bryce where the artist had to make all the models and mats themselves and no posers in the scene anywhere, and post work kept to a minimum. But this sounds like a good contest if your a poser artist :) Laters, Teri R
