prj is a project file from 3d studio max. I believe that 3D Explorer has some success at converting prj files to other formats. Hope that helps.

Bryce 4.0.1 should be able to import prj files (I'm almost positive I've imported some a couple monthes ago). Did you run the updater from 4.0 to 4.0.1?

How big is the file? If not humungous, email it to me and I'll convert it to .3ds in Max and wing it on back :) ~Dave

Actually 4 and 4.01 will both import a prj. The problem is that it comes into Bryce so tiny that at first it'll make you think it didn't work. At least this is the way they've always have imported to Bryce for me. Scale the object or scene big time. Dave
