Subject: TOS question

A signed model release with Photo-ID must be provided upon request if posting images with photographic nudes By and large, the new TOS looks pretty straightforward and sensible to me, yet the provision quoted above could potentially become a problem for my way of working. The lady that appears in a few of my images is the nude model from art school, and also a very good friend for a very long time. Obviously, I have her approval for posting at Renderosity, provided that: 1: she can see the image before posting 2: she can refuse posting whenever she deems this necessary 3: her anonymity is guaranteed In our country, ID cards contain names as well as full addresses; providing this information would be in conflict with point 3. Knowing that I will always respect the agreement that I have with my model, what would you propose to be a reasonable alternative in case you would make me such a request?

We would need some way to verify her age if the question ever came up (which apparently it hasn't for this particular model yet). Is there some other ID that has her picture and date of birth on it? Or you could fax the ID card with the name/address blacked out. It's likely that we won't be needing it in this case, though. --Asher

Now I'm really confused "Or you could fax the ID card with the name/address blacked out." I'm not suggesting for one minute that roobol would be dishonest but how will you know if the details are genuine if you can not verify it with the model. It wouldn't take long to knock up a bogus release form. This idea seems to me to be completely unworkable.

Asher, thanks for your swift reply. Once you need this information, please send me a formal request via e-mail. I will forward this mail to my model and it will be her decision (she's 27, BTW, 23 when she posed for "Mila Siga"). If she chooses not to to reply, I will let you know and you can remove images as you see fit.

Hi roobol, I don't anticipate needing this info from you. If and when we do, however, we'll let you know. thanks, --Asher
