I like him! He's not what you would call "pretty" (men rarely are, they can be good looking but very seldom "pretty") but this guy looks REAL! And not like M3 at all :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I think he looks great! I agree, I never would have guessed he was that pretty faced M3

Excellent work. What texture did you use on him?

Thanks :) I used the DAZ M3 texture (hi res). I wish I could make my own textures, but I have no talent in that area, I'm afraid :) I'm hoping someone will make a bearded M3 texture soon!! I used a lot of negative values in the morph dials for this one. You can get some very interesting results with negative values! It may be the secret to getting rid of the "pretty boy" look. I'm pleased with this one and pretty pleased with "Hank the hardhat" (that's what I called the other guy I posted earlier). I'm going to take ernyoka1's advise once again (she always gives good advise!) and get that gadget at the PC for creating injection morphs :) As soon as I can figure out how to do it, I'll throw Bernie and Hank in freestuff :)

Sandoppe, for a nice bearded M3 texture, check out Brad for V3Male, by Spectre3. I use that a lot :o) It has some minor issues below the lower lip (V3Male textures are a bit different at that spot) but mostly it works fine :o)

That face is most exelent!! I dont know what it, is but the ears "bother" me. I wish I could tell you what it is but I can't, the rest is wonderfull !!!

Thanks ernyoka1! I always forget about the V3 male textures. Most of the problems using them on M3 exist in areas that most of us cover with clothes :) Specture3 makes very nice and very inexpensive textures. I'll give that one a go :)

His ears are a bit large tonymouse. "Better to hear you with, my dear!" :) I know a lot of guys with big ears, I guess :)
tonymouse posted Thu, 09 October 2003 at 1:11 PM
No, that is not it, while I prefer smaller ears, it's that they are " flat?? Stiff?? UUGG! Hmmmm, It is a mesh proble I guess, Mikes 1 & 2 have the same problem. I guess it is a real testomony to your work on the rest of the face it is real enough that the fake ears stick out like a sore thumb. ;) Sorry that is the best I can do. tony

Not a problem Tony :) I do appreciate the nice comments from all on the face :) Now I have a new challenge....see if I can make more real looking ears! :)

Finally we are seeing M3 take on some REAL character! Good tip on the negative dial deal. Have to start trying that now that I got M3.
