Hi...I have a question/problem. Why is it when I import a figure into Raydream that is wearing conforming clothing, when its imported the main figure is in the pose I put it in, but the clothes are at their generic pose (arms out, legs straight, torso straight, etc. etc. etc.)? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

RDS doesn't support the conforming clothing at all as far as I know. Paul

Dang...So what other options do I have? I only have a RDS.

I export the figure and clothing separately in .obj format. If the figure has hair or is wearing/holding any other props I export those separately, too. Then I import each item one at a time to RDS, making sure to pick "simple meshes" and "only one object". Make sure to import everything before trying to scale or move any of the objects. I import each item, group them, then change the size. That way all the items stay locked in the same relative positions. When exporting figures from Poser (including clothing), I leave the defaults checked in the box that comes up when you export. For props I uncheck "weld body part seams" and check "include existing groups" and "include body part names". This is the method I use most of the time and it works fine, at least for the normal P4 woman (haven't tried with Vicky). Conforming clothing should come out right.

heyas; in poser: unconform the clothing, then apply the figure's pose to it. (the fastest way is to save the figure to a temporary pose library, then apply that to the clothing figure.) also there are other problems with importing version 4 pz3 files. first, you can't adjust the pose by 'jumping in' to the figure like you used to be able to do. second, if you have more than one figure, it's impossible to assign the texture maps to 'em. :/ (which i just found out today by opening a two-figure p4 pz3 file in ray dream. ::sigh::)
