With such a creative mind it would be hardly surprizing if he needed a break from time to time, but I do miss his work. Catlin

Especially worying since his last picture was his own gravestone. But anyway, my girlfriend had a IM from him two weeks or so ago and a comment on one of her pictures. So he's still alive and kicking.

Unless that was just someone covering for him..... Dun dun dun! The plot thickens 'Meanwhile, back at the ranch' We're still waiting for a sign.

I emailed him some time ago, but got no answer so far. I guess he's busy with school and work, or so he told before disappearing.

I thought he was having pc trouble...thats why he posted the wip of the gravestone.

"Reinstall Windows" is NOT a troubleshooting step.

No. I'm completely out of it today. I had a calc exam this evening, we aren't allowed any calculators... Calculus without calculators... Old school style. We have the old methods, but are attempting to do new/much more complicated problems. And now my brain's shot to high hell. Whatever high hell is.

Ornlu: When I was in college, I had to learn to use a slide-rule. Two years later, you could buy a pocket calculator. Those slide-rule skills are really paying off for me now, LOL!

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

...No slide rule either... lol

Hi guys I'm still alive but barely. Switching from a computer career to a medical career is really hard. I'll be back and rendering as soon as I get some time to catch my breath. Great to see everyone's still alive and wiggling. ;-p

Woohoo! Didn't know where you got too and it's good too see you're still alive and kicking. BTW, what are you doing on the medical front? Catlin

Alvin- With a computer and a med background you should be in a good position to fix those annoying poser anatomical quirks! (grin) Tjohn- I actually wrote one of my engineering exams with a slide rule after a catastrophic battery failure in my calculator. Was I glad to have learned them!

LOL, I still have a slide rule and log tables in my desk just in case, lets play spot the old school engineer :-) Alvin, nice to know you haven't just disappeared completely, good luck with going medical....

I've still got log books and a slide rule hidden in a box my moms attic. I haven't looked at them for years, do you think they'll still work? lol 8)

Who knows, those sliderule batteries can last an awful long time!
