Hi!
I guess this is a question which must have been asked before, I couldn't locate the necessary links.
Where would I get resources, help files and tutorials to model in Metasequoia (the tutorials seem to be all in Japanese and that is well all japanese to me :|), Wings etc.
Also Marble clay seems like an interesting package...but couldn't figure out what language its in. Is there any information on it in English somewhere?

Would be grateful for the help.

For Wings, try the forums at Wings3d.com. There is a good user manual avaiable there. It is not u to date (wings evolves fast) but it covers the basics. Wings3d.com has also some good tutorials. For general tuorials on organic modeling and a lot of example meshes try www.metagons.com. stefan

There is a thread at CGTalk on Wings tutorials and there's always the Wings forum here if you have specific questions. Hope you find what you're looking for. :)

Here is a link to Bay Raitt's page. Bay's work is just incredible! BazC was kind enough to post the link in the Wings forum the other day. A lot of good box-modeling stuff here! Check out his Gifs!! Wow!

The PuzzledPaul link Cybermonk posted is just about required reading if you want understand Wings. I definitely owe Paul a book from Amazon for his great reference work!

Hey thanx a lot guys! :) Seems to be a virtual treasure trove. Also found this: subdivision modelling tips: http://maxrovat.sns.hu/subdiv/subdivmodeling.htm The Aardvark tutorials are definitely awesome. But having heard so much about Metasequoia, am disappointed that there is so little resource available about it! :( But thank you all for the links.

I've got a website with lots of links for Wings3D and Metasequoia (English tuts) and many other 3D stuff. Most of them should work. I even have the tuts for Meta on another of my sites for download in PDF.

Just to say that if anyone does have any questions about Metasequoia LE, I have got it pretty much cracked so if there are any questions about specific issues, I don't mind responding through IM (long as I don't get snowed under ) I've been thinking about doing a tut for it, but to be any good it would have to be fairly extensive, with pictures -- too much to just post in a forum. I suppose I could put it in the marketplace for minimum price? Mick Pearce :)

I have a Wings tutorial for a turbofan here at Renderosity.* It's fairly quick (10 pages) and it should cover the basics of the Put-on, weld, and Rotate with magnet commands. It might be handy to learn a little something from. * Some stuff may have changed, since I am/was using an older version of Wings. I believe the magnets now use an alt-key combination, however, the rest should be the same.
