I was scanning the Renderosity posts the other day and saw a thread on folks wanting Bonnet's for Vicky and the PS-PT kids- and happened to run across these interesting links-- What struck me about the first link show here is how the old Mannikin's Look Like ANIME DOLL! Which brings to mind- is the ANIME DOLL a much OLDER fantasy female face than we had previously thought? And- wouldn't ANIME DOLL look interesting wearing PERIOD clothes- like Bonnets, etc. Keep in mind that in JAPAN, mixing WESTERN-STYLE period clothes with Anime Characters is often done, as witness the interest in Japan in CowGirl clothing styles, etc. http://www.1860-1960.com to see a full line of Period Clothes- Nice Reference photos here!Veritas777 posted Sat, 18 October 2003 at 3:37 PM

Big Seller- Because it was cheap! Probably remains a fairly good hat for a windy day at the beach.Veritas777 posted Sat, 18 October 2003 at 3:43 PM

Not exactly seam guides, but a fairly good reference on how a bonnet looks inside and out for modeling purposes.Veritas777 posted Sat, 18 October 2003 at 3:47 PM

I think you would make some people here very happy! I also expected PhilC to show up and announce that a Bonnet was his next freebie- to go with his new Calico Dress for Vicky. Or that Steve at Poserworld was just getting ready to release a Bonnet for Vicky 3 and 2! But the more bonnets, the better! They look great on Anime Doll, Vicky, PS-PT Kids, and I'm sure the Koshini fans would like them too. Also heard talk of a bonnet needed for Noggin's swan (or was that a Goose?) Of course MilCat needs one also. NOTHING as appealing as a Siamese Cat in a Bonnet!

huh? oh what? yes :)Those of you that have my tutorial will find a Pilgrim Mother's bonnet on it complete with instructions on how it was made. Also coincidently this week's Almost Freestuff includes a hat. Not a bonnet as such but the brim can be posed every which way.
