Attached Link: Bobbie25's make your own face textures tutorial
You shouldn't set the nudity flag when there isn't any, at least if you're asking for help. Less people will read your post. If someone replies with an image that show the naughty bits, let them set the nudity flag. The face room is pretty useless, IME. Well, you can get some interesting effects, but they're usually not the ones you planned to get. You're better off making/editing a texture in Photoshop. See the link for a tutorial. (Though it's for Vicky 2, the principle is the same for any character. If you can't find a seam guide for the character you want to use, you can paint over the original texture. Just remember to save it under a different name!) If you want a really close likeness, you'll have to adjust the face shape as well as create a texture. It's easier to do this with Vicky 3 than with Judy; V3 has more face shape dials.Shaz444 posted Sun, 19 October 2003 at 8:54 AM
Thanks randym77 a bunch for the url, things like these are what the forums are about. I was waiting for 2 months for something like this...finally got it ... now just have to test the tutorial to match my work!

Good luck! What you want to do is possible, so don't give up. And feel free to ask more questions if you need to. :-) One tip: You'll get more help if you're as explicit in your subject line as possible. These forums get a lot of traffic, and most people don't have time to read all the messages. A subject line like "are there any seam guides for Judy?" is more likely to attract the Judy experts (and the right answers!) than a generic "help!"

Just a reminder that we have a zero tolerance policy on warez/pirated stuff. I realise you're in a country that has a different culture etc. but please take a moment to re-read the TOS so that we don't end up having to ban your account. And you can't get the Victoria figures for free. They are a pay item available from DAZ3D. Thanks, Kevin (kbennett), Renderosity Moderator Team.

Oh, and I had to delete your post too as it contained a link to a site which was selling pirated softeare.

Zero tolerance huh?
"Members/Users found practicing these behaviors will immediately have their membership revoked, and access to the community permanently blocked from the community including any duplicate accounts for the same person."
Let's see...that person admitted to warez use, posted link to a site selling pirated software but got request to re-read the TOS and didn't immediately have their membership revoked. Nope, that's not zero tolerance. Please update the TOS to reflect the change.

Like any rule system, there is always room for discretion.

Not with a "Zero Tolerance" policy. If there is decretion permitted...it's no longer "zero tolerance". The TOS does not provide for discretion in warez use, it requires the immediate revocation of membership in all warez cases. Why would you want to give discretion to someone that openly posts they are a warez user and provides a link to a site that provides warez? By doing so, you, and this site are encouraging warez use and condoning theft! It's mind boggling that this site can tighten it's restrictions on image standards, yet ignore it's zero tolerance for warez!

Uhm, hello? I thought it was supposed to be a ZERO tolerence policy? That's what the TOS says. I don't know if I should be shocked that this is going to be allowed (so much for zero tolerence) or figure it's just par for the course. :( bonni

'Like any rule system, there is always room for discretion' so, you are contacting everyone else banned under the zero tolerance on warez that has been used previously and reconsidering each case one by one? funny.. I posed a question to Tim, under the spotlight with him, about the uneven application of the TOS here and lo and behold...

further - from the TOS 'Conduct - Zero Tolerance Renderosity maintains a Zero Tolerance on certain behaviors within the community. These include, but are not limited to the following. Any threats of physical harm, property damage or acts of violence toward another individual, or group of individuals. Fraudulent use of credit cards or refusing to pay for items recieved from The MarketPlace. Soliciting or Trading of any products illegally. This includes, but is not limited to, requests and/or distribution of computer software, software security overrides, serial numbers and/or admission of use or possession (warez). Intentional practices that affect the normal operations of the community (Admins will take whatever steps are necessary to restore service). Any member found to be impersonating a moderator or Admin of Renderosity will have his/her membership revoked Members/Users found practicing these behaviors will immediately have their membership revoked, and access to the community permanently blocked from the community including any duplicate accounts for the same person. Renderosity considers this information private and confidential. However, there may be certain situations that necessitate otherwise. The appropriate legal authorities will be contacted, and if appropriate charges may be filed.' this brooks no leeway or discretion. deal in warez, request them, link to a site, admit using them - under the TOS we all agreed to and are held accountable to, out the door you go. No appeals, no arguements. personally I would like an explanation why this person has been treated differently.

Oh for heavens' sake. Can you put your hand up and say you never, ever made a mistake? I just made one. Account reported to admin for banning. The end.
