AWWRIGHT - an answer to a humble call! 1000 cool points!! how do you cut off the bottom of your object in the terrain editor? (this is a first attempt to do greyscale modeling) i swear to god i'm not stupid & here is the bryce interface going "yes you are - muhahahahahaaaah!!!" thanks in advance for your wisdom

The slider to the right is the Clip tool , move it to clip off your terrain and lattice bottoms.

Or is called the Crop tool , I don't recall.

I think it's the clip tool. Actually (now reading the manual), it's called the Clipping Bracket! Sarah

Also on the clipping bracket: if you drag the bracket from the bottom it clips(red) if you drag it from the top the brightest whites on your terrain will turn yellow, what this is doing is making all the highest white levels perfectly flat.Great for making Mesas and Plateus.

Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

and hold down ALT while clicking on the clipping bracket to re-set it. Hawkfyr
