I've adjusted a plant and save it as a new form of plant. So far so good. But when I choose the plant from the "plant room" Vue refuses to put them in my scene. I get a 'can't load ... etc.'.
Some work, but most don't. I can't find a pattern in the behavior.
I also experience Vue being unstable in the 'plant adjuster room'. The 'plant adjuster room' closes without warning and such.
Anyone else seen similar?

When I save a plant the thumbnail doesn't show the plant but the few times I've used the saved plant it appeared to work okay . . .

Mac or Windows?

Thiis is a huge error on the Mac and I reported it to e-on tech support weeks ago - still no fix : (

Win XP home.
After some more work I can see that it'll save any changes done to most of the trees. And if it is done first of all things (before moving it or changing size in the scene).
But it'll not save the allready changed models. Say, if I want to do a new one of one of the adjusted ones.
2nd: Also sometimes in Plant room and I have the 'save new plant' dialog open, it just closes the dialog. If I try again whole Vue quits.
3d: When copying a plant material in material palette (down to the right of window) and pasting it on another plant Vue quits.
All of the above I can reproduce so I figure it may be a bug... or two...

Yeah - isn't this another 'excellent' pro only feature that we can rarely use? I am really enjoying being a beta tester for the full purchase price - NOT! Its as if they never even tested this feature : / You better post it on behalf of Windows users or e-on will never know it is there to fix in the first place. Scott

I agree with you scotttucker3d. Will do that.
I also think they would benefit of having a bug report forum or link of some sort.

They do - click on tech support and after you answer some questions it takes you to the place where you post bugs. You can search it any time to see what is going on. Scott
