I decided to try my hand and remodeling my cryotube, because numanoid gave me some very good suggestions. Here's a flat render of the cryotube. The tentacle will have a different attachment on the end than what it has now, so don't worry about that. I'm semi-happy with the lid on top. I think it fits. The only real problem would be getting the person all the way to the top to get inside of it ^_^ . Anyways - the tentacle itself. I plan on making it use ezpose, only I have not purchased the program to do it. Does the tentacle below look like it would take to ezposing well? Or do the gaps between joints need to be spaced out more? If someone could test just the tentacle out for me in ezpose, and post some images of how it works, then I would be very greatful.

Very cool. I must say that your stasis is better than the ones I am using, I had to modify mine quite a lot for my purposes. I am busy animating a video for a band and in one of the scenes my character walks through a lab with 9 cryotubes (three different types) and two flat bed like stasis chambers, plus lots of other machinery. I made a stair/ladder like thing on wheels that can move from one stasis chamber to the next to put the characters in. All the stasis chambers have beings inside them and they are all connected with tubes and the chambers all have lights in them. The stasis chamber only appears for about 1 minute in the video, but the rendering time on the animation is going to be about 9 days just for that one minute. What is your next model going to be, and do you take orders (hint hint). I have never modelled anything in my life, I just do animations, but watching what you are doing has made me a bit curious to learn. What program are you using and how long have you been doing this? And what are you going to do with this one when it's finished, market place or freestuff?

Oh, one more thing. None of the chambers I had had a morph to control the level of liquid, and I wanted to do a part in the scene where the chamber fills with liquid, but I couldn't (because I had no idea how to do a morph or anything like that). If you put in a morph for the liquid level it would help animators a lot. I am sorry I can't put up any images of what I am doing, because the band insists everything stays under wraps till the video is released in February. Will show you the images of my chambers then.
