I was going to post a tut dealing with making convincing rocks & boulders using metaballs. Now I used Metasequoia for this, although it should be broadly applicable in any software that can do metaballs. But all the tutorial options are tied to specific applications. Can't there be a tutorial option for general 3d modelling (since there's a forum for that, and none for Metasequoia)? Mick ;)

Hi Mick, Sorry, the free tutorial categories are tied into specific applications that also currently have forums. Perhaps you could list it under a compatible app and make note that you actually used Metasequoia..? --Asher

Maybe I'll do it for C4D -- that has metaballs. I still think there should be a more general category though. Oh well :) M.

Would "3D Applications" cover it? There's a forum for that topic. :)

woops, nevermind. There's a 3D Applications forum, but I just realized there's no link for it in the tutorials area. Ah well, sorry. :)
