I've been trying to do an image in Bryce by importing my Poser figures. Yeah, well I got that part down. I can also apply the textures. BUT, the textures on my people look strange. Kinda cartoonish. The textures on the dresses look right, but for some reason, the textures on the people look fake. If someone can't help me fix it, I'll just have to go ahead and post the image as is and hope to pretend it's my new style ; ) Ya know, give it a dreamy quality. Anyone got any suggestions???

How are you exporting and importing? What file format, etc.

Uthena, there are several tutorials around for that. Generally, I find you have to go into material editor and select your textures after you select all the skin, etc. Sometimes you need to change your specularity, etc. I'd suggest you go into the Bryce forum and ask. There are several posts there in the archives too--look for Poser to Bryce or something similar. To be truthful, I've found that just a straight import from Poser to Bryce doesn't satisfy me. Oh, just noticed you were able to apply the textures. Well, then I would guess you need to play around in the material editor and with lighting/skies. If I think of other places for help on this, I'll post again.

also you might try to add some new lighting i noticed the main lighting in bryce is a dull grey look for characters brought in from poser and some different colored lights help sometimes
