Yesterday I found out that -after a couple of irresponsive instances from Renderosity ('Page Not Found' and 'Unable to Connect to the Database' errors, etc.)- I could not view any images flaged as nude. I just entered my profile, found the nudity setting set to 'ON' (as always), changed it to 'OFF' and then back 'ON' (just to make sure :) and submitted the profile, in order to update. That fixed it. I think there is a relevant thread over the news forum - you may want check it out. Jonkayjay97 posted Tue, 21 October 2003 at 10:05 AM

I wonder how many customers have seen this 'Don't Look - Don't Buy' icon and are unaware of what they needed to do to change it and so just pass the product by.
A big thanks for this boatload of help for the merchants :(
Oh, a secondary rant - I've noticed that all of these 'improvements' have been made to make this site more professional. My question is - to who? We are the ones making and buying this stuff so who are you trying to impress?

What I want to know is why we can't have a button that strips all the clothed figures naked? Mick :o)

I have to agree on the icon. It does look like 'Don't Look'! Renderosity needs to rethink the message that particular icon sends.

Keep in mind that this thumb has been used for the last 3 years. The only ones complaining about it are those who don't normally see it. Those who use the nudity filter, or like me, toggle it on and off periodically, are used to it and it doesn't seem to affect them. Sales for the last 3 years haven't been affected by it or you'd have heard something long before now. The only real problem is the new coding and that's easy to fix.

The problem with the images was resolved yesterday afternoon. However, you will need to close your browser and re-open if you haven't already. If you continue to have the problem, you may need to clear your cache. Sorry for the mix-up. Jenifer

Kendra, it may have been in use before, but as I understand it, No Nudity is now the default for new people? That's the issue. The impression new people may get.

illusions, you're right. We've had complaints from "visitors" and agreed that they should make the choice to see nudity when they join (or toggle it on and off like some do). It was a minor change for only "visitors" so we didn't see the need for announcing. Our thinking was it's hard to "announce" something to visitors that wouldn't yet know where to go to get the announcement. Anyway, we realize now that it effected members when they were logged in yet and/or had a browser caching problem. Our apologies, Jenifer
