if is they are posted somewhere other than Tim's spotlightm, because if they are only submitted there they will be ignored altogether. However, if I post them here, at least you will see the questions, and maybe, just maybe, someone will feel more inclined to answer them. So this is what I asked: Regarding site and speed improvements: My husband, the infamous Dodger, is capable of and has duplicated and improved on the basic design of the Renderosity forums in an amazingly small amount of time. IN other words, he recreated what is here from scratch, then added features and functionality to his scripts such as automatic image resizing so that attachment images weren't ever rejected, true threading with no speed decrease, and so on. This was one man programming away on Linux. If he could do his beta stage in only one week (the server was lost) why does every change to Renderosity take so long? Regarding Renderosity's policies: Renderosity as an entity seems to have an alarming habit of asking everyone's opinions on upcoming policy changes and then disregarding the results altogether. Will this ever change? Regarding application of TOS and policy's: The fact that I stated in the first question here, the development time thing... that was why my husband was really targeted, wasn't it? Because he was building a competing brokerage, and he was doing it from whole cloth, not by sticking up a PHP or ASP package -- which meant that his site could actually be a theeat. Regarding merchant sales: Does Renderosity care at all that a merchant cannot possibly match the sales they would receive on DAZ when selling at Renderosity? Your level playing field comes out less as an example of evolution and more as an allegory for cold war era Russia. By forcing this 'level' playing field, you create a situation where it takes a tremendous amount of effort to be noticed among the throng. Regarding Renderosity's attitude in general: This site as a whole isn't really capable of admitting it's wrong ever, is it? That's why this question is going to be disregarded, isn't it? As a matter of fact, posting this message in another forum will be the only way the questions in it will ever be seen, right?
