does anyone know of a tut or how to make your own materials and installing them correctly to use with the material room? thanks a bunch! -_Essie

Assuming you're talking about P5 procedural shaders: How to make them: Play with the nodes in the Material room untill the desired effect is made. How to save them: Click the little + over at the Material Palette, you can save them to "Basic Materials" or make your own PandaPride folder. This is how I made the toon shaders, which were the first materials I've made :o)

You're welcome :o) Another tip is to start off from one of the premade shaders. It will give you an idea of how certain effects are accomplished, and sometimes minor changes to one of the settings will create a whole new - and cool - texture. But remember to render them too L Some of them look VERY different from their thumbnail :o)

There are also a number of free P5 shaders available at runtimeDNA that are worth checking out. Don't miss the fur ones!
