I dont think at he is too girly at all. You just have to put some effort into it. And I'm really not all that good at this. See link for full imagewolf359 posted Wed, 22 October 2003 at 9:07 AM

What do you mean 'not all that good' - this is super! Real characters. i have to admit that I have not used Mike 3 much yet - partly coz I have been distraced by a certain Anime Doll, but mainly coz I have not really felt like it! I guess I will have to give him some attention after all! Thanks for showing us this.

Great work, the faces are excellent tonymouse. M3 out of the box is a bit girly, its disapointing. Its obivous with a bit of work M3 can look really butch.

Nice characters. Really I just don't get the persistance of "he looks feminine" complaint. Sometimes I wonder if people ever look in a damn mirror... sigh. Hehe the guy on the left looks like my Highschool art teacher. @@ is the guy in the hat Dr Geep? (runs for cover) ^^

Dork looks retarded. Judy looks like an alien M3 looks to girly. There just is no pleasing some people. Realistic render looks good.

Hey M-C, what was the complaint about Vicky?? or did she have one??
Caly posted Wed, 22 October 2003 at 12:10 PM
Maybe... V3 was the first one with the separate INJ morph paks. People complained she was too expensive.... I didn't think so. :D

That's right and too complicated, not to mention that her old clothes didn't work with her!! I knew that even Vicky had some complaints ;)

I've never thought he looked girly and can't see how others do.....young maybe but not girly, nice one Tony, Steve
MachineClaw posted Wed, 22 October 2003 at 1:10 PM
Vicki looks to much like a supermodel and not like a normal person. Steph looks like a man. V3 takes too much system and the old clothing doesn't work it goes on and on. Maybe I have it wrong but I thought the idea of these models was to have diversity and help create NEW things. I almost never use a default model. If I did, V2 would always have that unibrow. Art is supposed to be fun. have fun damnit hahaha. I'm waiting for someone to say the new M3 barbarian is too much like Conan and not useful. oops I said it.

oh and I do like the picture. nice lighting, facial expressions. it tells a story, though not sure I really want to KNOW that story but it's well done. take the positive, leave the negative and keep doin what your doing.

Are you sure M-C, I'd be glad to tell you a story, a nice story. A long story. . . , A deep story, . . . A Har. . . . Just kidding :) Thanks, Tony

Personally, I think V3 is much too butch and hard looking. Very manish. My lesbian friends love her. OK, I'm just kidding. Actually, V3 and M3 out of the box both are slim and sharp featured. Much more so than V2 or M2. Completely different look. V3 and M3 do look alike out of the box. They were based on the same mesh, and I think the idea was to make them look like they were based on the same mesh. You can do a lot with moth of them to take them from that. That's why they are a higher res/poly figure. I still haven't tried converting M2 to M3 face morphs using Tailor yet. Has anyone else done it?
Caly posted Wed, 22 October 2003 at 2:31 PM
That's funny. My impression is that V3 out of the box is larger than V2, not particularly slim. :)

The Vic complaint of the day was she was ugly or too homely looking OOTB. Obviously she has been worked and molded over time to a number of different looks (much like Posette had been by the time Vic was released) and the complaints are gone. M3 will probably be no different.
