looks awesome. if it were me, i would try to add a little fog and haze to it, maybe add some volumetric lighting to it, but that is my humble opinion, i love using fog and volumetrics for some reason.

Well, the whole image looks pretty evenly lit. I'm not seeing a lot of shadwos, etc. The only shadows I am seeing seem to be coming from a light source located mostly straight above. If that's what you are going for, then great! ; ) If you want a little more mood, you can try varying the lgihtsing. Create multiple light sources, add a little color to some of them, a touch of red would be nice on an image like that.

Thanks for all the comments.....I have the color of the lights a light to med blue...I was trying to get shadows from the light I have on the left on the house(from the trees)....I do have fog :O...it's ground level....do you mean fog all around the whole scene....& I do have Volumetric checked in the atmoshpere editor. These lights are a b!@#ch!!!. Thanks again for taking the time to look & comment...I need all the help I can get LOL

Quoll is right. Maybe you should put a light up on top of the house where the lightning is striking. Then you would have some more highlights on your objects nearby. I like the idea of some dim red fill lights too.

Yes I prefer it that way, try stretching the vol material in the X or Y axis it might give an sheet effect to the fog. Yon can try to uncheck antialising in the mat editors of the mats you don' want to loose details on... one of the drawbacks (with time consuming) of volumetrics is that it needs better quality processing thus blurring tiny details. Hope that helps. cheers Paul

Thanks Paul...will give that a try tonight....removing the anti-alias...never new that would compromise the quality...I thought it made it better.....This was rendered in Broadcast...I did render it 1x in Ultra, but the pic came out with a lot of totally black spaces...go figure.

Don' take it wrong, I'm not sure I was clear, you need to try uncheck antialias ONLY for the materials ( in the mat editor )of the objects you need sharper.. if you do for the whole pict in the render options, the volumetrics will certainly be grainy ... good luck!
