Subject: new to this forum but please help

ok I am going fairly nuts. I went and browsed the help of my ps 7 and cant find it{probably looking over it] but please please how do you make brushes in ps7? I make brushes in my psp...but never tried in ps 7 and now I have some great scans of insect wings and wish to try and have no idea of how to do it. help? {this is so sad..been on this proggy for so long and do not know how to do this..so sad}

You make a brush pretty much the same way as you do in PSP....to "capture" your brush..Edit>Define Brush SWAMP

yep, just select the area you want to make into a brush and like swamp say's Edit --> Define Brush...

you'll want to name it...

and probably make a library so you don't lose it if you need to rebuild you PREFs file (this is where all your PRESET info is stored) or if you choose to "reset brushes"

ok I thought it was way more complicated then this as I have heard refrences to adjusting contrasts and tones and channels...I thought it was like an hour long project lol.

nay, you should tweek the contrast for better brush defination but a lot depends on the type of brush (you get a LOT of flexibility when doing "grunge!!")

will you be showing off the brushes or are they just for personal use??
