Hey all, I am starting a monthly texture request, so post your requests (just a few per person please) and I will take them with my digital camera and post them all by the end of the month. Please use this format: simple name (rust pipe, corroded steel, etc.) description (please list specifics such as color, etc, if neccessary) All maps will be in jpeg format and 2200x1600 or 1600x1200 size

How about an even colored grass. You know how lots of 2d grass images don't have an all over even tone and that makes tiling impossible but if you could sample some grass without any shadows on it that would be excellent. 8) Catlin

Catlin, for tiling give Tesselation a whirl, it' sonly 15 bucks at the Flaming Pear Website. Those are the only filter's I've ever shelled out for brand-new (I scored my KPT at Half-Price Books!!!!) But most of them are REALLY cool. Tesselation will help you make tileable textures from most any image, Although the source resolution needs to be really high.

I'd love to have good house siding materials for my houses...lol maybe wood slat siding? (painted in any color) Very kewl idea! Thanksssss

Aye, a good siding MAT would be wonderful! I work at NW Exteriors in the evenings, but all we manufacture is vinyl siding, which is hardly texture-worthy...

Shadow I would love to buy every single plugin that FlamingPear make but I haven't as yet 'cos I don't know how to send money to them from the UK. I know that makes me sound daft but if I send a cheque in for the equivalent in $ and the exchange rate changes by the time it gets there what happens. Will they wait until the exchange rate is more favourable which means I won't get the goods until it clears or will they cash it and bill me for more? You got any idea? Catlin

Hmm, I'm not sure, but perhaps you could use PayPal or some similar software? I'm fairly certain that they will do any conversions necessary, although I've no real experience with online transactions other than Flaming Pear and 1-800-Flowers.com.... (smirks)

That's the trouble though FlamingPear don't use PayPal otherwise I'd use it, Maybe I should go talk to my bank about it they should know the best way to send funds internationally. 8) Catlin
