Okay. I've been having this problem for the last few days. I go to load Poser, it crashes before it finishes loading. I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling in the same directory, still crashes. So, now I've got multiple installations of Poser 5, and I've come to the conclusion that there's something in my Libraries folder that it doesn't like, because when I transfered those over, the new Poser installer stopped working. Is there a limit to the amount of folders you can have in a specific area that could be causing this problem? I know P4 had this issue. I just don't understand what's going on here, and would really appreciate any help you can give!

Did you transfer the whole Runtime folder or just the content libraries? Inside the runtime folder are not only the usual content files but also a number of vital dlls and resource files. You may try reapplying SR-3, that should replace most of the dll and resource files. Also, try moving the files runtime/prefs/Poser.ini and runtime/prefs/Poser UI refs*.xml somewhere else, maybe one of the prefs files is broken. Last but not least, try setting document and UI state to factory settings in Poser's preferences. Hope this helps, Stefan
