Ok, here's my WIP so far.... I'm doing a scene from my favorite kids circus movie, Dumbo... (with a lil twist or two to the scenery) The only Non-Bryce at this point is the words on the signs, which will be redone again when the pic is finished, but are there now as a guide. But, my metaball elephant trunk looks, well, i dun know....lol It's all just metaballs and a sphere.. I want to put another elephant up just coming into camera view up front, but I'm afraid that elephant metaball mess will be much more noticible then the one i've hidden in the dark...lol *braces for impact and let's it post* C&C most welcomed!

It looks good so far...could you add a couple small glints to designate eyes in the dark?

When I thing och the circus i see lots and lots of colors, something I feel is missing in your image. Otherwse I believe you have a good start. I REALLY want my computer back. I'm missing out on all the great challenges.

Smell........that's what it needs.....smell....animals smell don't they? Seriously, I can't see anything wrong with the trunk or any other part of the pic......

thanks Guys.....grins The image i was going for in feel and mood was this... Remember in the movie Dumbo? when his mom get's locked away for freakin out on some nasty kids? then one night Dumbo goes to see her in her cage....very sad part... so the lack of color in the foreground is hoping to show that depression and sadness, while the glowing tent and sky lights in the back show what is going on, almost as if in another world from the heartache and lonliness of the solitary cage.. The movie itself, don't show anything in the background, but we know what's going on cause we saw it a few minutes before that....so I'm trying to tie that in in this pic... I dont' know why, but my only two thoughts of pics for this challenge seemed to be sad....lol the other idea woulda required poser tho, and I dont' have that...lol ok, lol, don't think sad, think emotionally moving...lol does this pic show that? or do i need more emotion in it? think the lil baby elephant when it's added will add some more....(or i hope so)

Yup, you're just being too picky Jen 'cos you're too close to it. The trunk looks fine and I like the idea of some light reflecting off the eyes. Maybe if you added some color to the spotlights it would give more of the circus/carnaval feel to the scene. Or even areas of light on the cage perhaps coming from nearby stalls, or shadows of people on the cage as folk walk by out of sight. 8) Your doing well girl, keep it up. 8) Catlin
