This image is of the original model made by Dosch in their Engineered Structures series. A while ago, I used it just to fool around and changed the textures on it to my liking. Well, about a week and a half ago, I was looking through my Bryce Industrial folder and thought, "Why not make my own model of it". Soooo, After working on it for a while everyday, I duplicated the plant, so to speak, and added a bit more stuff to it. Everything was modeled using bryce primitives with the exception of the 90 degree angle on the piping. Haven't come up with the final scene/render for it, but I will post that when I do. Hope you guys like it. The following images are of the textured model. BOOMER

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I really appreciate it. The textures are image textures from all over the web with a few of them being procedurals. Most of them, I brought into Photoshop and played around with them until I got what I was looking for. Countless test renders were amde before i was happy with how they looked on this little piece and that little piece. Overall, though, I'm satisfied with how it came out. Working on another one now and it's going to be a tough one. Thanks again, everyone. BOOM

The model is awesome, and the textures are pretty darn cool! The only suggestion would be to kill the ambience in them and give them a deeper, richer feel.

Very cool textures Boomer, are these procedural or mapped?

The pipes have procedural textures from the Bryce metal textures as well as the tanks. All the other textures are from image textures from all over the web. Some I used just as they were but most were tinkered with in Photoshop. Even the procedural textures were changed from what they were originally. If you guys want, I'll post some of the metal textures I used for this model so you can use them in the future.
