I know there is a way, but can anyone tell me how to convert p3 and P4 objects to P5? thanks Essie

You just load them from the Library after installing them, as you would in P3 and P4. No conversion required.
You might have to fiddle with the material settings a bit or disable polygon-smoothing, but that's usually all that's required.
