Moonbuggy

This should be up in Freestuff shortly - pending approval. Impatient souls can get it right now from the above link. You can see more images of the moonbuggy in my gallery, along with some WIPs of a Poser-scale Eagle Transporter. BTW, for those of you that have no idea what I'm on about - 'Space:1999' was a British SF series from the 1970's, fondly remembered for some very dodgy science, and some very cool hardware. If you want to know more, check out: http://www.space1999.org/ And if the Amphicat looks familiar, but you're sure that you've never seen 'Space:1999', then you might be having a 'Banana Splits' flashback. Don't worry though, the theme tune will only be stuck in your head for about 48 hours. Believe me, I know :) Cheers - Graham

You know, along the lines of Space 1999, Poser would be great for rendering the puppets in Thunderbirds. In fact you could probably use Koshini models and add lines for mouth joints etc. 1999 was an awesome show, well up until they got that shape shifting chic.

Hey any chance someone might do one of those half eagle tanks they had in the second season?

You mean these, Mason?

Excellent. Many things. Just got the 2 seasons of Space 1999 on dvd and have been enjoying them all over again. If you're doing Gerry Anderson stuff what about a SPV from Captain Scarlet(another show that could be done with Poser-like models).

(no way can the pilot see out of the windows) or no insides? btw for the BEST eagle pic go here - http://space1999eagle.com/an/an_home.html (modeled and rendered in Maya .. and posters to buy :) I have deluxe number 105 :)) and for your next project ;) http://www.space1999.net/eagle/ how about a Mark 9 Hawk? (plans there and they are EXCELLENT)

Kaibach - yep, the Eagle will be a free download. As for the cockpit conundrum, I'm going to have to be 'creative' LOL. There's no way to reconcile the studio set with the model, so I plan to make two versions - one for exterior shots, with a raised floor level, and a second version representing the studio set that'll exist as a stand-alone prop, but to the same scale, so you'll be able to hook it up to the rest of the Eagle and get nice through-shots back into the passenger module. Just don't try looking forward LOL
