Hi, Is it true that you can save a zero'd pose and then apply it to a new clothing item to create a new character? CB

No but you can edit the geometry path within an existing zero'ed CR2 file to point to a new model and create a new figure. Pose files (PZ2) only hold the body part's bend and twist data. The figure file (CR2) includes the joint parameters.

Err, OK, thanks PhilC, I know you are the ninja at this. So I create the zero'd figure pose, and then open it up in a text editor and there will be something in there pointing to the original figure which I will alter to point to my new geometry? Is that it? And then where do I place that modified file and..... Oh my god, there's smoke coming out of my ears!? Thanks. I feel dumb.
