I read this at www.3dworldmag.co.uk Curious Pose: Curious Labs has updated Poser, its popular 3D character-design and animation toolkit. The Poser Pro Pack combines new features with Metastream Web file format support. A new release of Poser, the popular, customisable 3D character-animation and figure-design toolkit, is scheduled for Autumn. Designed in response to the requests of professional Poser users, the Poser Pro Pack will enable multiple-view ports of a scene, easier custom-character set-up, faster on-screen performance and motion-blur options for final renders. Plug-ins included with the pack will enable the sharing of character animation with LightWave 6 and 3D Studio MAX. Users of these programmes will be able to take advantage of the ready-to-use character libraries, as well as being able to integrate scene and keyframe data into their work. Export of animations to the Web will be facilitated by Metastream 3 file output, currently marking its territory through the widespread adoption of its Web playback capabilities by leading 3D packages. Vector-converted Flash animation is also supported. The Poser Pro Pack is expected to sell at $149 (USD). CONTACT: www.curiouslabs.com
