Just make the color so the site is readable, no matter what it is..

yea...I tweaked the living crap out of mine best I could, but it still isn't very good...in facat, back wehn this new color scheme was put into effect, there was much clamour about the colors of the text, links, and stuff...not many liked it...

Ya know, this is the only site I know that gives any user preferences in choosing colors. Why the fuss? Reasonable to you may be white on black which is a horror to me with my aging eyes. Reasonable to me is black type on a white background, which the traditionalists whine about. But at least we have a choice of which to choose. Most sites force you to whatever they design. I think Renderoisty bends over backwards in this area...and, frankly, they probably shouldn't bother because it is impossible to make everyone happy. What is reasonable -- there is no agreement. It is unreasonable to ask Renderosity to satisfy everyone's expectations.

my point--I could care less if there was no choice, in fact prefer it so I can match my images color to the site colors..ie, background, etc...and all will see it belend in correctly. No choice with a color scheme that allows visibility of all text, doesn't clash, and has the ability to be seen instead of blurred by color mismatching.

"this is the only site I know that gives any user preferences in choosing colors" Not true... 3DCommune.com allows you to set ALL your own colors: Background, Normal text, Unvisited links, Visited links, Menu background, Menu contrast, AND they even allow you to upload a Background image!
