Hi. I'm new to poser, and just picked up Michael 2 to play with. My problem is that I can't find out how to apply any of the full body morphs (ie. Muscle 1, Muscle 2, etc) that are listed as coming with this package. I see a ton of morph dials for the head, but nothing to change the body areas (other than the usual Scale X, Scale Y etc). Am I missing something? Do I need to do something to enable the body morphs? Did I misread the product website and they didn't come with these after all? Help! Thanks!

The full-body-morph control dials are found in the Body group. There's over 100 of them. But you should also be able to see the pbm morphs when you select other body parts than the head. You're not trying to use Michael with the Poser demo, are you?

Heh...heh..well, um...yeah, I am trying to use it with the demo, as a stop-gap measure until I decided which full version to get. I assume that's my problem then, right? All the head morphs showed up fine, so I assumed the body ones would have as well. So, in a perfect world, I should have been able to just click the body, and have had all the morphs show up just like the head, right? I feel awfully stupid now. Sorry for wasting everyone's time. Thanks for the response!

I trust you "picked [M2] up" from DAZ, for money? If so you may be confusing the Michael 2 and Mike 2 to P4 figures - the latter has the M2 head morphs but no body morphs and is reshaped and recut to wear clothes set up for use with the default Poser 4 nude man, the former has the Michael body shape and all of the morphs.

Yes, I bought M2 from DAZ :). I also bought Stephanie, and she has the same problem (head morphs, but no body morphs). I did see the M2 to P4 figure, but am pretty sure I just bought the standard M2. My order confirmation just says 'Michael 2'. I'm going to assume its the demo issue, and will just wait till I get a full version. Thanks.

The M2 to P4 figure is part of the M2 package, so you should have it. However Steph lacks such a figure (as I recall - I've formatted my new drive but not yet reinstalled Poser) so it must be the demo.

DAZ does sell a Stephanie P4 variant, although it's not included in the regular Stephanie package.

Doh! I didn't even notice thier were two Michaels and Stehpanies included. I used the non-P4 one and everything is working fine. Thanks all! (Boy, and I thought I felt stupid before...)

It's all an evil plot - things like this, and double-clicking not being the same as the double check mark, and misleading error messsages are meant to get us down, so that we go off and spend more at DAZ to make ourselves feel better, so that we get confused over our new products and [repeat].
