I use a program called MT Mirror by MASA - you can find it at the link provided. Using this you can create symmetrical morphs just by making changes to half of your figure. Or you can make two versions of a full morph, mirroring Right to Left and Left to Right to see which one works best.Sorry, I just cant seem to be able to figure out how to do it in MT mirror .. even if the parts are totally symmetrical to start off with .. this is the procedure I tried : A. 1.import .obj file parts to work on (maintaining grouping) (for example lshin and rshin) 2.save out as a .obj file (maintaining groupings) (for example shinsBase.obj) 3. modify one half and save out as shinsHalf.obj (maintaining groupings) B. 1. Import shinsBase.obj into mtmirror as base (OK fine symmetrical) 2. import shinHalf.obj as MT .. fine matches ok, 3. save MT as shinsFull.obj C. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I try and import the shinsFull file back into 3ds and end up with just one mesh grouping, so I can only seperate manually . .. is this what I have to do ? It seems tath mt mirror doesnt retain the groups AM I doing something wrong ? Thanks for your help, Barrie.
