I have been a DAZ platinum club member since the beginning, and have been going back to track down all my purchases for backup to a CD. First checking my DAZ account to get the obscure item code numbers. Then doing searches for them. Then I thought it would be good to track down all the DAZ freebies. I imagine someone here is organized enough that they download the weekly DAZ freebies to one folder. I am not that organized. I have them scattered across my HD and various backup CDs. I was wondering if you could post a screenshot of the folder so I can track down these items on my HD. thanks!!!

Unless you've got rid of them, just do a search on .exe files, which should pull up a lot of them.

LOL this list is why I would never ask anyone for such info...I change file names so I will know what the "H" they are. I.E., when looking for a particular file in your folders what does 'ps_an47' mean to you? I can never understand why files can not have a distinctive, identifying name...long file names under most all Windows systems allows for it.

Another thing I usually do b4 archieving my files on CD prior to or after installing, is get rid of a lot of the extra stuff to save space. This doesn't amount too much per individual zip, but over the course of a few hundred files it can add up to a considerable amount of MBs saved. I mean, how many copies of the Daz/Rosity/RDNA licsence aggreements do you need? Or duplicate P4/P5/PPP files in the same archieve? Takes a little time to pare zips down but is worth it. As far as those .exe files, I always extract those to a dummy folder b4 installing...makes it easier to get rid of excess that way than after the thing is ballooned over 40 different folders.
