Just wanted everyone to know about the recent art galllery catagory change. Please note that due to the confusion of the "refrigerator art" Gallery catagory ... "refrigerator art" has been changed to "Youth Artists." This catagory is reserved for images created by children, as a place where children can post and view artwork created by themselves or other children. ladynimue

Cool! It's a real pleasure to view images made by youngsters. They show so much imagination. Without someone actually saying so, you can't tell what anyone's age is, so this catagory will help to give some context. Conversely, I know of a Poser artist who is a very talented 71 year old lady. Her art is great, lots of spirit, humor, and sometimes even a bit of naughtiness. I don't think it would be a good idea to have a "Seniors" gallery, though, LOL.

D'oh, now where do I post all my rendered refrigerators? Hm, is there a heavy metal category? Maybe I can find a home there for my fridges. :oD

'refrigerator art'???? A special category for eskimos? Art with a short sell-by date? Ice-cream art? Thank goodness you changed it. mac

Great to see everyone, and to answer your questions:

Thanks for your kind words. Oh, and I agree, that it's fantastic that older artists are creating CG artwork, most of the popluation over 70, are afraid to even open a computer let alone create art :)
Send me an IM with a link to your friends art gallery, I would love to post words of encouragement :)

If your refrigerator was created in Poser, please post to the Poser Gallery, or to the appropriate software gallery it was created in - Brat :P

Hey mac, you are very close :)
Due to Renderosity's diverse world-wide membership, some members translated the "Refrigerator Art" catagory as a place to post Winter Images. :)

lol@renders of refrgerators... You know, I am glad it was changed, too. I put one of my son's images into that category, and his comment was "Why do I have to go into the baby category?" hehehehe ( Even thogh I do still put his artwork on the fridge :P )

Thank you for the idea Dave-So...a place for us 'oldies' that are still producing pix that looks rather childish. But would it be ethical to lie about our age? YES!...we might get more comments from the kiddies...LOL.

I guess my son will be interested in that - once he discovered that there are robots in Poser then there was no stopping him. He also likes to super-deform cats - but only on screen I might add!

Just to make sure.. How long are you considered a child? Wheeee I'm not sure I should be happy or worried, as of today I have a teenager in the house ;o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
