Hmm....okay, this is a new one. Just a thought - does this object of yours have any depth? I can't really tell from the picture. Vue may become confused if an object is zero-depth.

I agree. Thats the sort of look you get when two objects are at exactly the same place, which would be the case if those two polygons are in the same place but pointing in opposite directions. I take it they are different polygons, not the same polygon but 2-faced? If so then move one a miniscule amount away from the other.

look your mat files ... maybe you have very big bump value.... reduce your bump map for all your textures down..when you import in vue... maybe is this the problem... look the bump tabs for all your materials .

Ta everyone, yep this is actually a box(as just testing some textures and model from Lightwave to Vue), four sided, and no bump map. Image appears a-ok in poser, so unless the LW mapping is screwed or Vue / ahmmmm me, is having a problem as such. am keep on keeping on. ta again all.

My mistake it seems. Vue did not seem to import one object side(poly), with multiple name/mapped details, when remapped with a different LW name and re-tex'd, all ok. My apologies for your time and thanks for the advice anyway. Ta again.
