I have just opened my new site, where you can purchase my Poser products online securely, from anywhere in the world. The new site has a monthly freebie section and this is the first offering. You can get it from http://www6.ewebcity.com/pdblakecasamerica posted Thu, 10 August 2000 at 4:27 PM
pdblake, thanx for the shield. I am sure I'll be picking up the fort. It'll save so much time and my modeling skills suck. One suggestion, if I may. I visited your site. Looks good... except for one small item and it may be my monitor but I thought the store page was a bit dark. When you pass over your items they light up nicely, but, they might be a bit too dark otherwise before that. Maybe a backlit look before they are passed over? Anyway, just a thought. Good work on the models also!

At least I know the javascript and DHTML works:), You're right about the backlight though, I'll take a look at it for the next site update.

I first went there with Netscape 4.7.4. I got shunted off to the "non-IE4" page, which is pretty sparse. I then went there using IE 5.0 on a Macintosh. I get a page which says "P.D.Blakes Poser Store" and "Welcome To The Poser Store", and nothing else. No links, no images, no obvious way to get to the store.

Did you read that the non-ie4 page is only temporary. As for using ie5 on a MAC, I didn't anticipate that, there may be differences from the Windows version. I'll try to fix it, but with so many 'standards' out there it is difficult to cater for everyone.

Think I've fixed the IE5 bug, Geekholder. If you try the site again you should be able to see everything. Unfortunately I am on a PC and haven't been able to test this with a MAC. Any MAC users care to l;et me know what the see at the site with IE4 and 5?

heyas; all right, pd! :) great looking shield. my advice on the site: ditch any browser-specific stuff and don't do anything too fancy. no sense losing customers cuz they have the 'wrong' browser. :) just my opinion, anyhow.
