What amuses me is that gaming conventions normally feature guests who make games, with the occasional writer or actor who contributes to one. This flyer has William Shatner in central position surrounded by 3 men from Battlestar Galactica (Hatch, Benedict, Jefferson), 4 from Babylon 5, and a lady from Farscape. Like most such media-oriented cons, the dealer's room will be full of appropriate merchandise and there will be photo opportunities and perhaps an official costume event. At Origins (the second-largest gaming convention in America) there is a group who demonstrates how to make the stormtrooper uniforms and other high-tech gear; they are likely to be here. Poser artists in the Southern California area might want to get a closer look at the costumes and props before going off and modeling their own scifi gear. Carolly
