Sorry 'bout that deleted message above .. i'm used to post in other types of forums ...

So now ... i'm not really sure 'bout this one. Ok, it's one big stalker and it may be a good macro, but i couldn't get her to a more photogenic surrounding. So, this pic is somewhat lacking a background i think? Also, it's just tooo big but i hate resizing her?

But, as part of our little bugger-wars i feel as having to post it into the galleries anyway? :)

Any tips are greatly appreciated!!

Warm greetings too you all and special hugz for Lalani - our macro-princess!!

:( I don't like spider... they are so creepy, ick.. But anyways, I like this shot, the dof adds to the creepiness because you aren't exactly sure where she is or going. I'm thinking maybe try to use a little more light next time, if possible, or try adjusting the contrast might help. I'll have a wee bugger for you in a second! ;)

Introducing the Ant Lion! Not sure if I'll be adding this one to my gallery, because its not as clear as I would like it to be. I had to take it in low light conditions, because the sun was too bright and flash was too. So I used photoshop to adjust the contrast and levels a bit. After blowing enough dirt out of his trap (to find him) I set him on a piece of white paper so that it would be easier to focus on him. =)

Nr. 1 Wow ... he's a real danger for my long legged friend. That flash-problem, i do know very well. The same thing catched me with her. Flashing gave me a white pic .. not enough light around and no external flash to use so this has to be it. Hmmm .... I don't think, that this one is as good as your other work, but it is still way beyond a lot of other macros around! Great shot Kim! You are the macro queen and goddess of your bugger army. bowing :)) Nr. 2 Oooops .. that's not nice of you. We don't have any SAM's right now ... runningawayveryfast :( Love him!! Great colours an fantastic shooting ... as ever Kim! May i ask where you're living? So much insects around! hugz Tom :))

LOL! Thank ya =) I live in Louisiana, USA.. lots of strange bugs around here, and big ones too! I'm afraid that they will be leaving soon, when the weather starts to get cold. :( Don't know what I'll take pictures of when that happens! Kim =)
