On being the first Coordinator! :) fanfare and cake
I just noticed it in the Who's Online page. ;)
So - does this mean more Coordinators are going to be activated? How do people find out if they've been accepted or not?

We're just getting the first few on line, and yes, we still have volunteers that we're deciding on. :) And, yes, congrats dialyn! I wasn't sure when it was officially official. Cheers!

Ah, thank you. I really appreciate the warm welcome. It's nice being first, but it's a little lonely. It will be fun to see who else joins in. :) And it's no use asking me; I don't know who is being considered. But I know it will be a great group; I can tell from the caliber of those who were volunteering.

Are congratulations in order for being made a coordinator or condolences?! Are you sure you want to do this? Have you seen this mob when they get really ugly? In any event, a big congrats and happy coordinating :)

A coordinator helps out the moderator of their particular forum....I'm assigned the Magazine Interact Forum, so I am helping Dee-Marie. I've been working out here and there on the magazine, so that seems the most natural place to put me. :) Mostly I'm just to try to help members out and flag down the moderators if it seems members need a help on a thread or in a galley. The moderators can't be online 24 hours a day, read every message, stare at every gallery picture, so the coordinators will provide extra help where they can. I'm not doing this to find problems or pester members....I'm just trying to help things run more smoothly, if I can.
