ok this jumped in my mind today as I made my latest{IMHO a MUST have set of textures from angle moon one of those texture packs so you can creat your own packages to keep or sell} and while it is "copyright free" I was wondering. would it be proper manners to include the name of the package artist i.e. anglemoon in this case {but could be esctacy or one of the other artists that have similar packages} in the artist place when you creat a package either for free or sell using the base texture?

It never hurts to credit the originator of a texture, as a courtesy to the artist who created the base texture, whether copyright free or not. I believe the way you do, that I could not in good conscience say I was the only artist if I used someones texture to build on. I would go ahead and credit them.
