I have 1Gb of ram, and a 40gb hard drive, split into 5 partitions. Poser is in its own partition, which has 5.37gb free. I'm using Poser 4.0.3, and the memory update. I've set virtual memory to a maximum of 800mb in C: partition, the page file is on C drive only. I don't want half my hard drive eaten up by page files! I'd just like to know what virtual memory settings would be adequate to stop Poser giving me these ridiculous "insuffient disk space" errors when I try to render. My images are never more than 800x800 100dpi, and yet Poser has a problem with them! Sometimes I can render 30 images one after the other without problems; the next minute it won't render at all. I just don't get it! Is it a stupid bug in Poser or are my settings wrong? I remember BigRedKane saying he has 12Gb of virtual memory and he still gets this error, and it leads him to think its a problem with Poser. I, like him, emailed curiouslabs, but never got a reply.
