Hope somebody can help me with this issue: I've made this model (see picture) in Wings3D and exported it as 3ds and obj and then imported it into poser. When imported into Poser all the parts of the model are welded together into _one_ object (this isnt the case when imported to other 3D applications) and I can't do mych with it. How should I import the model to Poser and have it separated into all its parts? Must I export/import the model piece by piece?

All your original grouping is still present in the OBJ. You may want to simplify this by grouping together all the parts that you want to move as one piece into a single group. Either your existing modeler or UVMapper would be good to do this. Then bring the model into Poser and select the grouping tool. Click on the Spawn Props button. Delete the original model and you will be left with the original model in groups. Open the hierarchy window and arrange the parenting. Finally create the figure.

Nice clean model :)
