after spending over an hour searching around the forum archive, I found only dead links for anything related to beach scenes... can someone point me to some sites with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach kiosks and the sort... I know there's a lifeguard shack at the freestuff, but even one of them is a dead link! thnx Max

All right, if you insist ....
RunTime DNA: desert prop (sand dunes), surfboard, jetty
SAMS 3D had a beach umbrella among its freebies; it wouldn't hurt to ask Sharon.
Zippo's Laboratory 108: swim ring, frisbee, dumbbell, beach umbrella, soda can and ice-cream cone, sunglasses
geralday's Fast3d: folding beach chair and windbreak
Dizzie has some beach props but I haven't got the link here
Dizzie's Digital Renders: beach toys and textures

also, for beach towels you can use Laurie's slightly rumpled oriental carpet at the big-i, or PhilC's oriental carpet with new textures. Ernyoka's morphing sheet would probably do as well with the right proportions. Someone made a sand castle.... Carolly

Hehe I made a sand castle, Carolly. And I even forgot about it when this inquiry was first made duh Anyway, it's in Free Stuff here too.

Hey, at least I remembered that it was made! ;^) Geralday and you and a few other people have also made small bottles/cans and such which could do for suntan lotion, insect repellent, and anti-shark spray. With sunglasses, that ought to be enough protection. Beach toys can include volleyball (I'm sure that there's a net around somewhere, balls are quick to fake if a person doesn't want to trawl by TurboSquid with an open wallet), and didn't Cooler make a frisbee? cough once again.. I and ziggie have a volley set - with beach volley too - here in the MP. And the volleyball are a fine deal cheaper than the TS one ;)

Boy, I feel inadaquate since with this migraine I have a hard time remembering where the other half of my head is... much less where I last spotted such and such a prop, however, I don't think I've forgotten... well, hmm.... actually I do occasionally come across an old piece of art which had lain too long in a drawer or file folder. I hope that if asked whether I'd ever drawn a smoking wastebasket, antique typewriter, or ghost coming from a fax machine (sheet-fed) that I'd remember these kids! ...but might not include the exploding globe if asked about general "office equipment", so don't feel bad. I spend little time in the Marketplace, but keep a half eye on Product Showcase Forum. With a dying computer, I'm months behind in collecting free stuff items I might need, too. Sigh. Good thing that Little Dragon is here! Carolly
