I got Spatch not long ago and started to use it. I exported the models I made as DXF, but they behave strange in poser. I can look throu them, see sometimes only the back wall sometimes only the front... I transformed to OBJ and 3DS with 3DWIN but the models still look strange... Can anybody help?

There is a utility in free stuff called Objaction Twoface by Maz which is for exactly this sort of problem - just do a search on Maz (which will turn up loads of other really useful utilities as well grin). Paul

When you import select the "Make polygon normals consistant" option. This sometimes cures it. Also there may be a similar option in your modeling program which you should use prior to saving the file. If you can save directly in OBJ format that may be better. You will not be able to apply textures to DXF objects within Poser.

bantha, I've found most of the time that when you render the image the holes disappear. It usually only looks that way in the unrendered document. They just don't show. Try rendering the image and see if they fill in. If not, do what the folks above suggested. I haven't tried the Objaction Twoface, but it sounds like a good program. Melanie

Also make sure that every outside surface is broken down into triangle polygons.... Scarab
