I downloaded Motsura's P5 clothing pack for Ichiro, but it won't open in P4. Are there any workarounds for this? The stuff looks great, and I'd love to put it to use.

Not sure what clothing pack you're talking about. I just downloaded the school uniform and noticed its not Poser 5 but the skirt was named "Blouse.cr2.bin". So I deleted the ".bin" part. Then when I opened it in word there is a bunch of jibberish at the beginning of the file that may effect it opening in Poser. The obj files need to be in ":Runtime:libraries:character:Koshini#MOTSURA" or you can do like me and change that in Word or Notepad.

Also look for folder structure in LIBRARIES. Nested folders don't work in P4. example: Runtime->libraries->character->myfolder->mysubfolder Here you have to move all stuff out of mysubfolder into myfolder. Thumbnails must be *.rsr and not *.png, else default-thumbnail is coming up. Also texture problems may appear.

No, the problem seems a little more complicated than that. When I first opened it, I got the usual "new version but Poser will try to read it anyway", followed by a string of "Poser can't read _____________________________________/Shortsleeves.cr2", which I have -- it's the standard Ichiro clothing. So I thought, okay, maybe it means I just have to edit the pz3 and redirect it to the cr2 I have. That didn't work either. FYI: look on Motsura's Koshini/Ichiro page at Posermania. Go to the bottom. The item is called "Ichiro who wears a Poser5 suit jacket" or something like that. Great looking package, as all of his stuff is.

No, it was a freebie from the incredibly talented and generous Motsura. Arrgghh. It's a great looking package too.
