I'm finaly finished with my new SFCS package.. and it's huge!! Many walls, floors, ceilings, lamps, and the textures... if I have to ever work on so many textures, I think I'll puke!! This is probably the larges set I've put together and man, it's so easy to set up a quick corridor or room scene, it's almost criminal. I've included bump mapping and 5 texture schemes with map pose files, I've also made this for poser 4 and poser 5.Have a look at the images to see what's all included. Sorry they seem a little blurry, they are reduced, you can see larger images that are clearer at www.beyondbent.com
Comments and questions welcome as usual!!
Thanks for letting me bend your ear,
Davo

Sure do :-) Glad you guys like it, it's very cool, I'm using it right now in a new comic.. makes rooms a snap to make.

Davo, This looks like a perfect home for the ProjectZ and Concord Elite stuff. I like the dirty texture options. You know the bad guys don't keep their station as clean as the good guys ;) Cheers!

Actually, this is all going to effort that SydneyKeys is putting together along with my shuttle and get this, after I'm done with the shuttle, I'll be working on a modular crafts package where you can put all the parts together however you want.

looking good Davo! great job!
davo posted Sun, 30 November 2003 at 11:46 AM
Thanks for the comments guys! I'm sorry it has to be cd only right now, it's got so many textures and bump maps that it would be in the 260-285 megabyte range and I figured that would be a little too big for downloading, plus it eats up bandwidth reaaaly fast :-( I may have to mull this one over. d
GraphicFoxx posted Sun, 30 November 2003 at 1:08 PM
This looks great! A really cool idea to do. I'll admit that I'm a bit put-off by the cd only thing, but hey. Looks like a cool set.
guarie posted Sun, 30 November 2003 at 3:46 PM
So how long would it take for the CD to get to Australia and would I have to pay extra?? I so want this set!!!
davo posted Sun, 30 November 2003 at 4:02 PM
Okay, here's an update, I'm uploading the files to ftp and giving the option for download if people think they can handle close the 300 megs. I'm breaking the zips down to around 50 megs or so each. For those who have already purchased the cd, I'll be contacting you to see if you'd like to download instead. I'm not sure how long it would take to get to Australia, maybe a week or so, but now that I'm making it downloadable, it may not be a problem. Quarie, e-mail me at beyondbent@comcast.net, I have a general question for Australian customers.
guarie posted Sun, 30 November 2003 at 4:08 PM
Done - email has been sent Davo. I may still get it on CD anyway as I'm on dialup and the 50MB files would probably kill my connection. ;) But I'm a patient person and am happy to wait for the CD.

Hey Davo, I'm pretty sure I can handle the bandwidth (I'm on a DSL line). Guy

(Tapping foot) Where is my CD?! I ordered it yesterday! Oh wait, no mail delivery on Sundays. (Slinks back to his hidding place). Have cable modem but save your bandwidth and just send me the CD, soon :) Cheers! Phillip

Thank goodness Christmas is coming :) I've got your other sci-fi room sets and I'm glad to see that this set matches in style and texturing. To many creators change the style of their sets so they don't work well together. I also love the ambient lighting for the lights and monitors great idea! Needless to say my order will be coming in the next week or so.

Does anybody have any tips or renders that would help me in setting up some rooms using the SFCS? It's a great pack, but I'm having some trouble using it. Guy
