lo all well if you follow link you can see the image i did for the snow contest in vue.i didnt like it and so i did minimal touch ups in ps7 and i will do another for the contest soon what do you think regards seeklightgebe posted Mon, 01 December 2003 at 10:39 AM
It looks nice, but I'm always wondering how fast some users cam create an image:-). I need very, very much more time. Often some weeks. BTW the snow could be a little whiter. The far background looks a little poor. BTW don't forget that postwork is not allowed at all for the contest, even no blurring or whatever. Blur can be made inside Vue, that's the challenge of a contest with such great prizes:-).

lo mate i dont agree on the snow,as in all weathers the snow takes on the apperence of the colours of the atmosphere. If artists can understand this part of painting then they will make more and better looking images,of course i know this is just your opinion and you are entitled to it hehe and yes i know theres no post aloud that is y i changed my mind on this one many thanks seeklight

It is a very good render. I however do agree with Gebe on the snow. Otherwise well done.

I haven't seen snow in 20 years, so I can't say. But it looks lovely to me. I would think, just thinking about it, that the sunlight would reflect off the snow and make it look colored...but that's speculation on my part. It is a peaceful scene and I needed that today. :)
