Does any one know if M2 textures work for M3? And if not the easiest was to get them to? I have just got the Muscle Maps from Daz for M2 as I couldn't find any good ones for M3. Damn they're good though!! Cheers people

I recommend the universal texture converter at Daz and the M2 and M3 plugins. As long as anti-alias is turned OFF the textures should translate almost flawlessly

Although I haven't had the time to try this, I imagine that anybody can cut and paste one map into another. Unfortunately, the M2/V2 and M3/V3 maps have been mapped very differently. M2/V2 cut the body like a toy model where the figure is sliced into a front half and a back half where there is a seam all the way around the body as the two halves are joined. M3/V3 essentially have their skins unravelled, split down the middle of the back. It's much easier copying a texture from V1/M1 to V2/M2 because both models had essentially the same maps with some rearrangements of where the hands and feet were located on the map. A simple Photoshop action could probably convert V1/M1 to V2/M2. Probably the same can be done between M2/V2 and M3/V3, but there's a little more work involved.

Turn off anti-alias? Is that how you fix Mike's eyebrows? The texture converter works fabulous, except for Mike's eyebrows... I have yet to get a decent face texture converted to M3 because of the brows.

UTC is an excellent tool, you can even create MAT files with it. Its mad science that works well. Just don't use the AA.
