It seems curious labs has been taken over I just wonder if they are gonna keep supporting other 3d software now its been taken over by the company that make Shade

Few threads CL addressed this, check down a few. It's a partnership with the shade maker, just like Cl and egysys (spelling) was. CL is alive and working. Makers of Shade have been around a while and are eger to break into the US/Euro market with Shade so it's going to be an interesting year. Don't worry, they are fine.
