I have been working for a long time on a Poser FLYING DUCK Package with most of the previous duck species of my original standing duck set - with VERY HIGH RES texture and bump maps! The new maps for all the ducks will be approximately 2000x2000" - a quality just like the high res Wild Cats I just finished!
As a HUGE THANK YOU to all who purchased my duck sets for the past three years, the BONUS of this Flying Duck Package is a WHOLE SET of matching BRAND NEW folded wing duck model/maps for free! That means the set of flying ducks will be reasonably priced as all my sets are, but include double the models with the NEW folded wing ducks! (see next post for picture!)
AND...as part of that HUGE THANK YOU - when the Flying Duck Bonus Package debuts in our store, there will be FREE SHIPPING on any order that contains the new Flying Duck Package for a WHOLE MONTH! Yes! Free shipping in both the US and Overseas for a whole month on orders that contain the new Flying Duck Bonus Package!
I will have the male and female: mallards, wood ducks, pintail ducks, at least one of the "teal" ducks, baby ducks, and we'll see what else as time goes on... The male mallard has it's little black "curly tail feathers" shown in the pictures and the Pintail duck will have it's "pintail feather" too! :) (ducks have Easy Pose Necks and will have poser pre-set poses too, perhaps some posed and saved as a pz3 - when the easy pose neck positions don't "hold" in the pre-set poses)
Expected price for the set: $20... "ETA" (estimated time of arrival) depends on how my other current project (TBA - to be announced - soon, IF it works out well) gets finished. The duck project is huge, even though the ducks themselves are done, morphs are done, poser-izing is done (as shown in pictures) - but that many high res maps for both the male and female of each takes a lot of time.
Regarding the Flying ducks - yes they can land and take off, the legs do "come down" part way and toes flatten out. The Wings are modeled so they have the complete wing look but do "bend" at the first joint both down and back with morphs, as well as the whole wing flaps, moves forward, back and twists with dials!
Also as with all my models the package will include a nice amount of "Ready Pose" mapped static models ready for use in Vue or Bryce, for those who either don't have poser or want to put the ducks into a scene "right now"! (mouth opens, too of course!) :)
